About ON TRACK Ministries

ON TRACK Ministries was established in 1995. Acting Director Ian Haworth is directly accountable to an eleven member active Board of Directors and the Lord Jesus Christ. As a non-profit organization, a 501(c)3, we serve the Lord through High School Ministry- providing students with a foundation in the Bible and an atmosphere to build Christ-based relationships. Support for the ministry is provided by our partners in prayer and their financial gifts.

Ian and Kristy Haworth

Ian and his wife Kristy believe God has called them to work together as a team ministering to High School students. Kristy is the Administrator for ON TRACK as well as heading the ministry to girls. Ian serves as the Director of Ministry, heading Campus Ministry, Discipleship, Teaching as well as serving on the Board of Directors. Ian and Kristy have lived in the Bend community since 1990. They have two school aged children.

Parent Information

The core of this ministry is facilitating Bible Studies on High School campuses (Bend High, Mountain View High and Summit High). As the law requires, these are student-led. Our mission is to build relationships with student Christian leaders, disciple and train them according to their spiritual gifts. They, in turn, then minister and disciple other kids to know and grow in Jesus according to the Word of God.

How do we do this?

• Build trusted relationships with High School kids.
• Disciple and empower them to teach the Word, lead worship, reach out to others, etc., each according to the gifts God has given them.
• Provide an evening Bible Study in which kids can worship our Lord and be fed by the teaching of God's Word. We meet at Rosie Bareis Community Campus, which provides a setting where non-churched kids can come and not feel the pressure a church building can bring. We hope to provide a place where they can come to find God's truth and be loved by others.
• We encourage and direct kids to find a church home to be a part of the body of Christ.
